Manic Monday: Juice

Mo's Manic Monday: Juice

Today I am kicking it old school with this commercial from 1981. 27 years later I can still sing this jingle verbatim which is interesting given that I couldn't possibly tell you what I was doing 5 minutes ago! I can remember when this gum use to cost $0.25. I have no idea what it costs now and the more I type the older I feel! The mere fact that I can remember anything from 20+ years makes me older than dirt!

On the B Side: This is the kind of thing that really makes me miss home. Life was simple back in the day. I so loved my childhood in the middle of nowhere central PA! Time stops for no one and the more time that passes the more I realize just how incredibly blessed I really am!

The commercial did not open for me, but I have a feeling that it was Juicy Fruit. I remember how popular it was. Does it mean that I'm old, too? :o)

Whoopsy! I actually took the embedded code and tried to post it as a hyperlink. I fixed it now but yet, it was the glorious Juicy Fruit commercial!

Oh how I love Juicy Fruit!! It reminds me of playing softball in high school-our coach used to buy it for us before each game.

I love it when you talk about your childhood. It feels so cozy and fun. I enjoyed my childhood too, but with you it feels even better. Amazing how you can make a post about juicy fruit feel that way too. LOL.

Good choice! I remember that commercial too. I think you can get a pack of Juicy Fruit for 99 cents.

I'm singin' along too, baby! Those were some good commercials for the yummy gum that was yummy for about 10 seconds and then it was hard as a rock. My jaw hurts just thinking about it! LOL!

I can't sing it word for word, but I could hum along and sing a bit here and there. In 1981 I was only three, so that song must have been around for a number of years for me to have knowledge of it!

remember doublemint gum? LOL
