Giggle Boxing

Today I awoke to the sound of the kids giggling in their room. They were playing well and carrying on the funniest conversations. Dayton came out to ask me if I could, 'whip up some popcorn'. His favorite food is popcorn...with loads of butter! He takes after his Grandpa John and while the popcorn kills my stomach but I say that I do indulge more than I should! I did receive a case as part of a Mother's Day gift so it's been a good excuse ;)

On the B Side: I love when the kids get along well and enjoy life together. Even as little people they tend to worry quite a bit and I don't want them to miss out on a thing. I want their childhood to be filled with whimsy and magic so that no matter what happens and no matter where life takes us they will always be able to look back and smile. xoxo

Sunday Night Giggles

I kifed this from my pal Shellie's blog and had to repost it simply because I was laughing so hard!

On the B Side: I LOVE laughing! It is so good for the soul so bust it out and work those abs!

He's Our Numero UNO!

Dayton's favorite new past time is playing UNO! I picked it up over the weekend and we've been playing rather often. He prefers to play with just the two of us so that the 'Skip' and 'Reverse' give him more turns! We play with our cards down so that I can coach him. He's got the rules down and we're working on strategy!

We take turns dealing and have talked about etiquette and the rules of engagement when playing games, etc. He always takes inventory of who has what cards after the cards are dealt. Our last hand tonight was by far the most exciting! While he wasn't looking I dealt him all of the wild cards. When he was turning his cards over he couldn't stop giggling! The laughter in his voice and the light in his eyes was priceless! He obviously was unaware of my contrived little plan and I don't feel the least bit guilty as I soaked in his innocent excitement!

On the B Side: I am grateful for the people in our lives who help us to see ourselves more clearly.

PS Clancy, You are always the one who blesses my life!

Don't You Wish Your Elves Were Cute Like Mine?!

While my Dad was here he had more than just a little fun with my moonbeams! Check out our little Elves!

Elfing Around

On the B Side: I am grateful for silly things that help us take a break from the stress of real life. It gives us time to relax, enjoy life, remember the things that are really important and then refocus ourselves! Two thumbs up for giggles!

3 Parts Giggles and 1 Part Bubbles

Presently Mark's brother Jeff and his family live on street over from us. We really enjoy being in the same neighborhood and it's lots of fun for the kids! Last week two of their children came over to play for the evening. They also have an Ellie! Ellie and Noah were here and all five of the monkeys ended up in the tub! The kids always have tons of fun together and all get along super well!

On the B Side: I am so grateful to have family live so close nearby!
