Santa Baby
Okay, okay. I got busted for not making mention of my brother in the last post. I'm pretty sure Auntie Mic was ready to call Sigfried and Jensen on me!!! So in honor of my one and only sibling (the one who cut the heck out of our couch and phone cord at our Grandparents and DENIED) here is the latest (and certainly one of the GREATEST) photos of the one, the only JAZZY PANTS!
He's saved my life more than once (and I ain't talking about Santa!). He is just about the coolest Uncle EVER and he does seem to be carrying a little high in this pic!
He is playing Santa for their Ward Christmas party at church (special gratitude to his wife on getting him fudged into that lucky role!!). I showed my kids and they recognized him immediately...I told a tiny fib and told them it was his Halloween costume! They bought it...hook, line and sinker!!! BooYa!
On the B Side: Jazzy is easily one of my best friends (I won't say THE BEST and risk Mic's wrath again!). He's got a heart the size of China and always goes out of his way to help others. He's responsible, strategic and thoughtful. He's hilarious AND handsome...too bad I got all of the brains!! BWAHAHAHAAHAAA! Okay, okay. I jest. Wait, what did I get? Am I like Danny Devito in 'Twins'?! xxox

Friday Fab 5
1. My right and left hands saved my well intentioned day! Remember that time I thought I could pull of hosting a baby shower at the office?! I would never survive without so much support (oh and that yummy salad, the to-die-for treats and built in baby sitters!!!)
2. I filled up my tank for under 45 bucks yesterday. AW YEAH!
3. Marky stepped up to the plate. Swinger, batter, batter, batter, batter, swiiiiing! Thank you, Ba Fark for all of your help.
4. I busted through some serious knowledge objects publication at the office despite the fact that MOS is a POS!
5. The Christmas shopping has begun and I'm sooooo excited!
On the B Side: Life is good!

Angel and a Pest
In honor of my friend Ivana here is this week's post.
Angel: This week's angel is a tough one as there have been so many in our lives these past few days particularly as it relates to our packing, moving, unpacking and cleaning. As I thought about it I decided that I hardly make mention of some my favorite people.
Micci has been completley exhausted with her migraines and helped on the spot yesterday. She is a hard worker and busted her heiny on behalf of my family until late into the night. As if that wasn't enough she was absolutely pleasant and wonderful despite it all the entire time. She always smiles and I love it when she giggles. She continually kicks my brothers butt while all the while standing in complete adoration of him (which he happily reciprocates). Two very happy and very helpful peas in a pod! THANK YOU!
I definitely need to make mention of Jenny. Jenny is Mark's older (but not the oldest) sister. I've struggled to know how to best develop a relationship with her. We've had some honest ups and downs but I can tell you that I really do sincerely love her. She is extremely family oriented and takes the Mama Bear syndrome to a whole new level as it extends beyond her children to include ALL of her family. She has a very protective and I respect her for being so strong and so passionate. She has stepped in many times this week and also was with us late into the night. Most of all she gave me the pep talk of a life time that brought much comfort.
Definitely note that lots of people have helped us with the move and we appreciate everyone's selflessness. The time and energy you have put into us is priceless and I do thank you. You know who you are and we are grateful for your service.
Pest: This week's pest is an easy winner. Bugs, don't bug me. Stay away from my family. Particularly, to all of the spiders and earwigs that attempt to intrude....DIE! Die, die, die. It sucked to find you in the bathroom. It was awful to find you on my leg. Terrible to have you crawl out of the diaper bag and ONTO MY ARM while at the store but if I catch you in my baby's car seat again there is going to be some serious hell to pay. In the mean time please note that the pesticide people are on their way TODAY. BWHAHAHAHA!
On the B Side: I am not working again today for the sake of continuing to move my family. The down time and the quiet time seems to be serving me well. Time to jump into the ring for the day~

Let the Games Begin!
My Mom and I went to Dillard's today and found her a stunning outfit and I was able to talk her into heels as well that will be killer with her new threads! We went out to dinner tonight with she and Mike as well as Micci and Jazz. It was really nice to all be together. My Dad flies in on Wednesday and that is also super exciting for us as we haven't seen him in almost a year :(
I still need to get the girls black shoes to accompany their pretty flower girl dresses and figure out what they heck we are going to do with their hair. Dayton is happy about his "penguino suit" and we'll rehearse on Friday night at Micci's Aunt's. This is the third wedding for the kids so they think they are little professionals!
Jazz and Micci are both elated and cannot wait! They started moving their stuff into their new apartment. Jazz is still with us and Micci is still at her apartment in Provo. We are going to miss having him here with us but are so excited for him given the great happiness he has found. Their bed was delivered today and they hit IKEA for some other necessities today. Everything seems to be in place and ready to go for their special day! It will be a busy week for everyone.
On the B Side: I am so happy that Jazz and Micci have found each other! They really are darling together and there are few things more satisfying than feeling the joy they create together! It's hard to believe my little brother's life is about to change in so many wonderful ways and he totally deserves it!

GIRL YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE!

My one and only little brother is GETTING MARRIED! I'm so excited! We love Micci and they are so beyond happy together! We got the phone call tonight and it's official!!! The kids excitedly asked Micci on the phone, 'Micci, are you getting married to Uncle Jazz?' followed by 'We want cousins!'
Micci and Jazzy have been together for a year now. When Jazzybutt first moved here he teased that he would find a good little Mormon girl. I don't think that we ever really expected it to happen! She's bright, beautiful, full of personality, all kinds of giggles and a heart that adores our Jazz man! On top of it all she loves to cook and clean...exactly what he needs ;)
They are both ecstatic and looking forward to June! They have a busy few months ahead of them and I can't wait to hear all about it as it all unfolds. Between planning a wedding, buying their first home and working out all of the details for multiple receptions they will definitely have their hands full!
PS This also means that I will get to travel home in August for the first time in 3 years! We'll see how DD Cakes, Betty beans, a little newborn and me do and pray that Marky can make the homeward bound trip with us!
On the B Side: I am so grateful that Jazzy has found the love of his life! He's been all a glow and it's wonderful to see him so happy. We're all super excited for both he and Mic! xxox
