Is there really any other choice?!

He has sang Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Our Lady Peace, and the Beatles and sang them all well with his own personal spin and a coif to kill!

Yes, I am shamefully addicted once more! This year I have my own little zoo crew though as the children love Idol! Ellie insists that she is Brooke and that Jason is her boyfriend. Kayla prefers Carly and has asked if she could share Ellie's guy! Dayton got out of bed last night and saw me watching it via Tivo without him and he burst into tears!

David Cook. He's talented, refreshing and creative. Despite his arrogance I will continue to put my eggs in his basket and wonder what the significance of his orange bracelet of his is!

On the B Side: I am grateful for simple delights! While singing it not my talent I will tell you that my 'talent' is enjoying and appreciating those that can sing! I also love, love, LOVE that Idol Gives Back raised over $60 million dollars in the course of <24 hours to assist in Africa as well as serve some of the disadvantaged here in America. I love that England's new Prime Minister donated $220 million to Idol to support the cause in Africa to help fight and protect against illness. I love that so many people came together to make this happen. I love that something as silly and trendy as Idol was able to once again do so much good in the world!!!

2 shout outs:

Hi Britta, I am a friend of Amy and Michelle's that you may have heard of... I linked to your blog from Amy's (I just joined the online blogging world). Anyway, I just wanted to comment on your "ABOUT ME" in the sidebar... it's beautiful!

I must say I agree with you. David Cook is fabulous. But I love David Archuleta. They are for sure going to be the last 2 standing. It will be interesting to see who will win.
