Take Me Out to the Ball Game?

The Discovery Health Channel is one of my guilty pleasures in this life! While working remote today I've been catching all of the baby stuff on it.

There was just an analogy made that the birth canal is like a tunnel of bones and that a baby traveling down the birth canal is like forcing a softball down your throat.

None of that really works for me. Not so much. I am hoping to go natural this time around given that two epidurals were less than effective with DD Cakes and I made it to an 8 with Elles after 12 hours before I begged for pain meds. Mark, if you are reading this for time, it's true and you have my sympathies!

On the B Side: I am glad that I have a few months to work on all of this and prepare! Time is a beautiful thing and I'm always thankful to have it on my side.

You know whats funny is when I was in high school and college in my dating years I couldn't get enough of A Dating Story on TLC, then when we were planning our wedding I couldn't stop watching A Wedding Story. During my two pregnancies I couldn't stop watching Discovery Channel Birth Day and TLC Baby Story. Like I'd watch marathons of Birth Day! Crazy :)

Funny you should mention that. I'm watching Birth Day right now!

Were you a screamer during labor? Some of these women are nuts! What really kills me is the women who deliver with a room full family and friends looking up the barrel!

You can do it, girlfriend! You were made to go natural! You are WOMAN!!! I believe in you 100%! You are strong and incredible!

I know you were asking Shellie, but FYI, I am a screamer for sure. Not high pitched labor screams, but low and guttural. It really helps! :)

You are my inspiration! I can't picture you as a screamer but as screamer I am not...or have not been! We totally need to catch up and chat!

Did you ever know that you're my hero?????
